Shockwave may be covered under your insurance, either as Massage Therapy or as Kinesiology (without including massage therapy). If you include Shockwave with a massage it is considered Massage Therapy, but some insurers will allow Shockwave alone to be billed as massage therapy, each plan is different. Shockwave requires on average 3-6 appointments booked one week apart to address a specific chronic condition.
